That is the part the medals do not show. A running mother is usually running before the house is awake, or in the ninety minutes between a school run and work, which makes the collection a record of logistics as much as of fitness.

Worth putting somewhere visible for that reason alone. The first of the two Runner Mom cuts, in stainless steel, with a continuous rail that takes whatever the next few years produce.

Bought by children and partners in roughly equal numbers, and the two groups size it differently — children guess low, partners guess about right.

Why stainless steel, not painted sheet metal

The medal hanger is cut from AISI 304 stainless steel (V2A / 1.4301), 2.5-3 mm thick depending on the width. Not painted sheet metal that chips at the first knock.

And it holds a continuous rail, not hooks. Twelve hooks means twelve medals. A rail holds as many as fit.

Putting it up

The standoffs hold it a centimetre off the wall, which is what gives the shadow line. Template, screws and plugs are included; you need a drill and ten minutes.

After the first one is full

They're made to pair. A second unit sits flush against the first and the run reads as a single display. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
