Enduro, motocross, track days — different medals, same drawer

Club rounds hand out podium medals that end up in the toolbox, in the van, in a helmet bag. Riders keep them, which is the point, but keeping and displaying are not the same thing.

A garage or workshop wall is where these belong, and stainless steel is the material that survives there. AISI 304 does not care about damp, oil or temperature swings, so the medal holder ages at the same rate as the tools around it, which is to say barely.

This one gets mounted in workshops more than hallways, so the standoffs matter: they hold the steel about a centimetre off the wall, which keeps condensation from sitting behind it.

The same medal display is cut in several widths. Buying as a gift? Count what is already in the drawer and go one size up.

Size & capacity

Size Steel 1 rail 2 rails 3 rails
35 x 8 cm 2.5 mm 8-12 15-22 20-30
45 x 8 cm 2.5 mm 13-20 24-36 34-50
60 x 11 cm 3 mm 21-30 38-55 55-75
75 x 11.5 cm 3 mm 31-45 55-80 75-110

Not sure which size?

Enduro and motocross riders collect steadily rather than in bursts. Two or three a season over a long riding life adds up to 60 cm.

Why stainless steel, not painted sheet metal

The medal hanger is cut from AISI 304 stainless steel (V2A / 1.4301), 2.5-3 mm thick depending on the width. Not painted sheet metal that chips at the first knock.

And it holds a continuous rail, not hooks. Twelve hooks means twelve medals. A rail holds as many as fit.

Putting it up

The standoffs hold it a centimetre off the wall, which is what gives the shadow line. Template, screws and plugs are included; you need a drill and ten minutes.

After the first one is full

They're made to pair. A second unit sits flush against the first and the run reads as a single display. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.

Shipping & returns

This medal hanger is made in the EU in our own workshop and dispatched in 3–5 working days. Fourteen days to return it.
