I Run This Town Medal Hanger

For somebody who runs the same streets every week

Not a travelling racer — the opposite. The runner who knows which pavement floods, which set of lights is never worth waiting for, and roughly what time the bakery opens because they have passed it at that hour for six years.

The pun is in the title and the display is not. Two wide sizes, AISI 304 stainless steel, a rail rather than hooks.

Local racing produces a steady drip rather than a burst — one or two a month for years. Those collections end up larger than a runner who does three big events a year.

Below are the widths this design is cut in. The honest advice for a gift is to size on the drawer, not on the wall.

Steady local racing fills a display faster than a few marathons. Take the 75 cm. This design is produced from 60 cm upwards — the cut-out detail doesn't hold at smaller widths.

Why stainless steel, not painted sheet metal

The medal hanger is cut from AISI 304 stainless steel (V2A / 1.4301), 3 mm thick depending on the width. Not painted sheet metal that chips at the first knock.

And it holds a continuous rail, not hooks. Twelve hooks means twelve medals. A rail holds as many as fit.

Mounting

Everything is in the box: stainless standoffs, screws, wall plugs and a paper template. Mark through the template, drill, done — about ten minutes.

When it fills up

A second unit mounts flush against the first, so the wall still reads as one piece rather than two things hung near each other. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.

Dispatch & returns

Cut to order in the EU and out of the workshop within 3–5 working days. If it is not what you expected, you have fourteen days to send it back.
