Made for rosettes as much as medals

Show jumping and eventing produce a different kind of trophy — rosettes with long tails, ribbons that are wide rather than narrow, the occasional sash. They do not hang the way a race medal hangs.

A continuous rail handles that better than a row of hooks, because a rosette needs somewhere to sit rather than a single point to catch on. Space them wider than you would medals and the same rail takes about half as many.

Rosette tails hang long and move in a draught, so leave clearance below the rail and avoid mounting it directly above a radiator.

These are the sizes available. If it is a present and you are guessing, guess upwards — a display that is slightly too big still looks right.

Rosettes take roughly twice the rail width of a medal. Halve the numbers in the table and choose from there.

Made from one sheet, not assembled from parts

The medal holder is laser-cut from a single piece of AISI 304 stainless steel, 2.5-3 mm thick depending on the width. Nothing welded on, nothing to come loose.

Medals hang on a continuous rail rather than individual hooks, so you're limited by the width of the bar and nothing else.

Putting it up

The standoffs hold it a centimetre off the wall, which is what gives the shadow line. Template, screws and plugs are included; you need a drill and ten minutes.

After the first one is full

They're made to pair. A second unit sits flush against the first and the run reads as a single display. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
